CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 88-590 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION DENYING THE APPEAL OF STANLEY <br /> PARTNERS TO A DECISION OF THE PLANNING <br /> COMMISSION TO DENY THE APPLICATION OF <br /> STANLEY PARTNERS FOR AREZONING, A <br /> MODIFICATION OF A PUD DISTRICT TO PERMIT <br /> ADDITIONAL USES AND A DEVELOPMENT PLAN, <br /> Ar.T. ON THE NORTH SIDE OF STANLEY AVENUE <br /> (CASE PUD-88-10) <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, at its meeting of October 26, 1988, the Planning <br /> Commission denied the application of Stanley <br /> Partners for a rezoning (on a one acre site), a <br /> modification of a PUD District to permit additional <br /> uses, and a development plan (Case PUD 88-10); and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, said rezoning, modification, and development plan, <br /> if approved, would permit the construction of a <br /> multi-building retail and service commercial <br /> complex, of approximately 213,000 square feet, said <br /> complex to be located on a 21.4! acre site on the <br /> north side of Stanley Boulevard between First <br /> Street and Valley Avenue; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the zoning for the subject property (other than the <br /> one acre site) is Planned Unit Development (PUD); <br /> and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, under the Pleasanton Municipal Code, this type <br /> application is adopted by ordinance, requiring <br /> three affirmative votes for its adoption; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, within the time specified by the Pleasanton <br /> Municipal Code, Stanley Partners submitted an <br /> appeal to the City Clerk of the City of Pleasanton; <br /> and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, a public hearing was held before the City Council <br /> on December 20, 1988 at which time all relevant <br /> testimony was considered and all relevant documents <br /> were reviewed; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council has given due consideration to the <br /> matters set forth in Section 18.68.110 of the <br /> Pleasanton Municipal Code with respect to the <br /> approval of development plans in a PUD District; <br /> and <br /> <br /> <br />
