Task 1.3 -Develop Near-Term and Long-Term Pleasanton/Zone 7/DSRSD-East Joint Use System Model for Current Design 1.3.1 Input data describing projected near-term future condition for two alternate DSRSD system configurations. 1.3.2 Perform model runs, including 24-hour simulations for average and maximum days. 1.3.3 Repeat 1.3.1 and 1.3.2 for long-term future condition. 1.3.4 Evaluate effectiveness of joint utilization for current design. 1.3.5 Review results with Pleasanton and DSRSD representatives and decide further study of alternative joint use designs. Task 1.4 Develop Joint Usage Configuration for Reservoir 1.4.1 Using results of 1.3.5, adjust the size, location, and eleva- tion of Tassajara Reservoir, Transmission Main and control valves as necessary, and perform additional model runs for joint use configuration. 1.4.2 Allocate capacities of reservoir, transmission, and control valves between Pleasanton and DSRSD. 1.4.3 Review results with Pleasanton and DSRSD representatives. Task 1.5 Prepare Report Summarize conduct and results of the study with suitable maps and diagrams, including model printouts as a supplement. Task 1.6 Furnish Model Provide City with copies of Data Input files and Output Files desired on IBM PC format diskettes.
