Ruth and Going, Inc. R"~"'G <br /> <br />Fee Proposal 17091-109 <br /> <br /> C. Construction Administration Phase: <br /> <br /> 1. Ruth and Going, Inc. will perform the typical duties required for contract <br /> administration as well as extended duties at the site in accordance with <br /> A.I.A. Document, B-141 (see attached). These services are based upon a <br /> 10-month construction schedule and an average total of 40 hours per <br /> week site observation by Ruth and Going, Inc. and their consultants. This <br /> 40 hours includes travel to and from the construction site. Should the <br /> construction time exceed 10-months due to no fault of Ruth and Going, a <br /> re-negotiation of the fee would be necessary for this phase. The <br /> extended duties require on-site investigation and observation to review <br /> the work as to quality and progress in an endeavor to determine that the <br /> work is generally in conformance with Construction Documents. Ruth <br /> and Going will issue Certificates for Payment upon review and approval <br /> of Contractors Request for Payments. On-site shelter facilities for <br /> architectural observation shall be provided by the Contractor. <br /> <br /> 2. Ruth and Going shall not have charge or control for construction means, <br /> methods, techniques, procedures or safety programs of the construction. <br /> In accordance with Ruth and Going, Inc.'s professional liability insurance, <br /> Ruth and Going, Inc. cannot be considered to be or act as an inspector of <br /> the work or be responsible for the construction of the work. <br /> <br /> 3. The City of Pleasanton shall hire and pay for all special inspection and <br /> testing as required by cedes, authorities and as required by Construction <br /> Documents. (See Attachment 'A'). <br /> <br />lI. PROPOSAL FEES <br /> <br /> A. Basis of Fees: <br /> <br /> 1. Determination of the fees is as follows: <br /> <br /> a. The approved schematic design indicates 6 individual buildings, a <br /> vehicle wash/fuel structure, 4 covered vehicle storage buildings <br /> with 2 buildings for hazardous materials storage, and an evidence <br /> storage building. A firing range and agility course has subsequently <br /> been included as described in paragraphs I.A.5.i and I.A.4. <br /> <br /> Page 7. <br /> <br /> <br />
