Police Department Evidence Storage Building: Architectural, structural engineering, plumbing, mechanical and electrical design for a 80' x 50' pre-engineered, steel building. This facility shall include 3,000 sq. ft. of 2nd floor loft space and 4,000 sq. ft. of adjacent, fenced vehicle storage space. Approximate area: ?,000 sq. ft. k. Miscellaneous: (1) All bui]ding designs will be in accordance with applicable codes and regulations including California State Title 24 energy conservation and handicapped access requirements. (2) The Evidence Storage Building and Firing Range will be provided with electronic intrusion security protection at their perimeters (including the vehicle storage area). Security system will be remotely monitored at the Pleasanton Police Department. Security system design will not extend beyond the perimeter of the buildings. (3) Access to all facilities, including fuel pumps, will be provided with an electronic computerized proximity card key access system. This system will automatically control and monitor the arrival and departure of any personnel accessing or attempting to access any building or fuel pumps. The computerized monitoring system will be installed at a location on the site, as directed by the City of Pleasanton. 8. Miscellaneous Design Conditions and Services: a. The Basic Design services will include Design Development phase, Construction Documents phase, Bidding and Negotiation phase for all buildings and facilities. In addition, needs assessment, design programming and schematic design services will be provided for the Evidence Storage Building, Firing Range and Agility Course. Page 4.
