Police Department Evidence Storage Building: Architectural, <br /> structural engineering, plumbing, mechanical and electrical design <br /> for a 80' x 50' pre-engineered, steel building. This facility shall <br /> include 3,000 sq. ft. of 2nd floor loft space and 4,000 sq. ft. of <br /> adjacent, fenced vehicle storage space. Approximate area: ?,000 <br /> sq. ft. <br /> <br /> k. Miscellaneous: <br /> <br /> (1) All bui]ding designs will be in accordance with applicable <br /> codes and regulations including California State Title 24 <br /> energy conservation and handicapped access requirements. <br /> <br /> (2) The Evidence Storage Building and Firing Range will be <br /> provided with electronic intrusion security protection at their <br /> perimeters (including the vehicle storage area). Security <br /> system will be remotely monitored at the Pleasanton Police <br /> Department. Security system design will not extend beyond <br /> the perimeter of the buildings. <br /> <br /> (3) Access to all facilities, including fuel pumps, will be provided <br /> with an electronic computerized proximity card key access <br /> system. This system will automatically control and monitor <br /> the arrival and departure of any personnel accessing or <br /> attempting to access any building or fuel pumps. The <br /> computerized monitoring system will be installed at a location <br /> on the site, as directed by the City of Pleasanton. <br /> <br /> 8. Miscellaneous Design Conditions and Services: <br /> <br /> a. The Basic Design services will include Design Development phase, <br /> Construction Documents phase, Bidding and Negotiation phase for <br /> all buildings and facilities. In addition, needs assessment, design <br /> programming and schematic design services will be provided for the <br /> Evidence Storage Building, Firing Range and Agility Course. <br /> <br /> Page 4. <br /> <br /> <br />
