Provide copies to the City. <br /> <br />8.0 Pre-Construction Ass|slance <br /> <br /> 8, 1 Furnish the City with 25 sets of final plans and specifications, <br /> <br /> 8.2 Prepare and place advertisement of bid In local newspaper. CIty <br /> to pay advertisement fee. <br /> <br /> 8,3 Prepare and mail any addenda that may become necessary during the <br /> bidding process. <br /> <br /> 8,4 Check contractor's bids for arithmetic errors. <br /> <br /> 8.5 Prepare staff report for presentation to the Pleasanton City <br /> Council recommending award of contract. <br /> <br /> 8.6 Coordinate and obtain Right of Entry Permit (Encroachment Permit) <br /> to start construction of soundwall. <br /> <br />9.0 Construction Staking <br /> <br /> The City has requested that Blssell & Karn submit a proposal and fee <br /> for construction staking. However, at this time, without construction <br /> plans, it would be inappropriate to submit a binding fee and proposal. <br /> When the plans have been prepared to the 80% to 90% level, a firm <br /> proposal and fee for construction staking will be submitted. <br /> <br />PTP.32.16 5 <br /> <br /> <br />
