No. 4-1080-C <br /> <br />advertising and award of the construction contract); and all con- <br />struction engineering activities (contract administration); all <br />the above are referred to herein as "SERVICES". <br /> <br /> (4) STATE and CITY do mutually desire to cooperate in <br />design and construction of PROJECT and desire to specify herein <br />the terms and conditions under which SERVICES are to be per- <br />formed, and PROJECT is to be constructed, financed and main- <br />tained. <br /> <br /> SECTION I <br /> <br />STATE AGREES: <br /> <br /> (1) To provide CITY with necessary regulations, poli- <br />cies, procedures, manuals, standard plans and specifications, and <br />other standards required to define the quality and scope of SER- <br />VICES. <br /> <br /> (2) To provide examples of Requests for Qualifications <br />and Requests for Proposals for CITY's use in procuring consultant <br />assistance, to advise CITY on consultant procurement procedures, <br />and to participate in consultant selection, if CITY elects to re- <br />tain one or-more consultants to carry out the terms of this <br />Agreement. <br /> <br /> (3) To use STATE resources and procedures to assist <br />CITY in setting Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) goals, if <br />CITY's goal setting process and DBE requirements are not at least <br />equal to STATE's process, or if CITY's history of achieving par- <br />ticipation is not equal to or better than the STATE's goal. <br /> <br /> -2- <br /> <br /> <br />
