Billings <br />shall be submitted to STATE's Representative for approval and <br />forwarding for payment. <br /> <br /> (12) To pay all costs for upgrading of utility facili- <br />ties which may be relocated as part of PROJECT. <br /> <br /> (13) To construct the PROJECT in accordance with plans <br />and specifications of CITY, to the satisfaction of and subject to <br />the approval of STATE. <br /> <br /> (14) To administer the contract under the general <br />supervision of a Resident Engineer, who shall be a licensed Civil <br />Engineer in the State of California and qualified to perform the <br />functions of a Resident Engineer. The Resident Engineer shall be <br />a CITY employee. CITY's Resident Engineer shall comply with all <br />requests made by the STATE's Representative(s) within the limita- <br />tions of the Representative(s}' authorities as defined in Article <br />(14) of Section I of this Agreement. <br /> <br /> (15) That all contract administration procedures shall <br />conform to the requirements set forth in STATE's Standard Spec- <br />ifications and Construction Manual for construction of PROJECT. <br /> <br /> (16) To have CITY's consultant(s), if used, available <br />to interpret' the PS&E, and review and recommend approval of <br /> <br />change orders, required shop plans, falsework designs and other <br /> <br />working drawings during construction of the PROJECT. <br /> <br /> (17) To have CITY's consultant(s), if used, available <br />to make all necessary corrections and furnish the corrected prod- <br />uct to STATE if, during the course of construction, errors or <br /> <br /> -9- <br /> <br /> <br />
