City of Pleasanton Proposal PR88056
Geotechnical Investigation For October 5, 1988
Road Failure-Evaluation Page 4
Pleasanton, California

SCHEDULE AND FEES

We would mobilize for this project within one week of your
approval and authorization to proceed. We anticipate that the
initial field work would take three days to complete. We
estimate that laboratory testing would be completed within two
weeks following completion of the field work. A progress report
summarizing subsurface soil conditions and the initial
inclinometer readings along with our preliminary conclusions
would be submitted within three to four weeks from the date of
commencement of the field exploration. A final report containing
our conclusions and recommendations with regard to the subject
roadway failure and containment and restoration schemes would be
submitted following the compiling and interpretation of
inclinometer data for a period of 3 to 6 months.

Our fee for this work would be computed in accordance with our
Fee Schedule. Based on this schedule, we estimate that total
charges for the scope of work outlined herein and performed over
a 6-month period would be $18,000-$20,000. An itemized breakdown
of the estimated charges is attached. We have assumed that you
will assure our unimpeded access to the site during the course of
this investigation.

We shall not be responsible for damage to underground utilities
or other installations unless they are accurately marked on plans
made available to us prior to beginning of field operations.

BSK
& Associates
