Box 520 <br /> Pleasanton, CA 94566-0802 <br /> <br /> Re: Augustin Barhal Park Improvements; Proposal for Professional Services <br /> Dear Mike: <br /> <br /> Thank you for the opportunity to present our proposal for landscape design <br /> services for the site improvements for Augustin Bernal Park. <br /> <br /> Having prepared the original master plan, Kent Watson & Associates <br /> continues to maintain a strong interest in the development of Augustin <br /> Bernal Park as an outstanding public resource; we look forward to <br /> contributing toward this effort. <br /> <br /> The scope of the work identified within this proposal includes the <br /> following: <br /> <br /> 1. Identifying and providing solutions for roadway drainage and grading <br /> problems, including paving of the roadway from Longview Trail to the <br /> existing water tank. <br /> <br /> 2. Providing separate preliminary and final design documents for the <br /> staging area parking lot adjacent to Golden Eagle Development. <br /> <br /> 3. Identify the locations for park signs on an overall park plan and <br /> provide preliminary and final design for standard construction of the <br /> signs. <br /> <br /> 4. Providing design and construction documents for fencing of the meadow <br /> area and drinking fountain(s) for the park. <br /> <br /> 5. Extra Services: All work performed by Kent Watson & Associates which <br /> is not spec°l~ically outlined in this scope of services shall be considered <br /> as "Extra Seryices". Extra Services requested and approved by the City of <br /> Pleasanton sh~ll be billed on a time and materials basis at the rates <br /> outlined on t~e attached Schedule(s) of Fees. <br /> <br /> All proposed work will be coordinated with other agencies, (e.g. <br /> Pleasanton Water Department and East Bay Regional Park District). <br /> <br /> Based upon our recent review of the site, and consultations with our sub- <br /> consultant, Roger Fry, Civil Engineer, we are prepared to offer the <br /> followin~ services as related to the scope of work'noted above: <br /> <br />Kent E.
