CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 88-476 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION APPOINTING MICHAEL H. ROUSH AS CITY ATTORNEY <br /> OF THE CITY OF PT.F-ASANTON <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Peter D. MacDonald, City Attorney of Pleasanton, re- <br /> signed his position effective July 7, 1988; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City sought applicants for the position with the <br /> most qualified candidates presented to the City Council; <br /> and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, after review of the qualifications of the applicants and <br /> interviews, the City Council has determined that <br /> Michael H. Roush is the most qualified and best suited <br /> to the position of the City Attorney of the City of <br /> Pleasanton; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RE- <br /> SOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> Section 1: Appoints Michael H. Roush as City Attorney of the <br /> City of Pleasanton effective September 26, 1988, with a <br /> yearly salary of $70,000 and those benefits itemized on <br /> the attached Exhibit "A". <br /> <br /> Section 2: This Resolution shall become effective immediately <br /> upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br /> THIS RESOLUTION ADOPTED OCTOBER 4, 1988 BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE: <br /> <br /> AYES: Councilmembers- Brandes, Butler, Mohr, Wilson, and <br /> Mayor Mercer <br /> <br /> NOES: None <br /> ABSENT: None ~~~ <br /> ABSTAIN: None <br /> <br /> ATTEST: <br /> KE~qN~,~H'~'.
