Task 4-2: Drainage--Delete the pipe culverts at SL-2 <br />Sta 38+57 and SL-3 Sta 38+90 from the completed design <br />plans; prepare separate design plans for these pipe <br />installations and incorporate them with the grading <br />plans prepared for Task 4-1. Design temporary channels <br />for operation of the drainage facilities and include <br />with the construction plans. Prepare necessary special <br />provisions; estimate the quantities and cost of <br />construction. <br /> <br />Task 4-3: Median Pier--Delete the median pier from the <br />completed design of the Stoneridge Drive Overcrossing <br />widening plans. Analyze feasibility of constructing <br />the pier without removing a portion of the existing <br />bridge. Redesign and adjust location of the piling, <br />pile cap, and pier to fit the changed conditions to <br />accommodate advanced construction of the median pier <br />without demolition of any of the existing structure. <br />Prepare separate plans to show the new pier <br />construction. <br /> <br />Prepare separate plan to show the location of a standard <br />sign bridge foundation in the median of 1-680 and in- <br />clude with the bridge median pier plans. <br /> <br />Prepare special provisions; estimate the quantities and <br />cost of construction. <br /> <br />Submit the completed plans, special provisions, and <br />estimates to Caltrans, Office of Structural Design, for <br />review, comment, and approval; make necessary revisions <br />resulting from the review and resubmit for final ap- <br />proval. Submit plans to the CITY for concurrent review. <br /> <br />Task 4-4: Contract Legal Sections--Write, edit, and <br />assemble the legal sections of a contract document for <br />use by the CITY to implement any general public works <br />construction. The sections shall be consistent with <br />the CITY's contracting procedures and shall include <br />Contract Requirements and General Provisions. <br /> <br />Submit the completed document to the CITY for review, <br />comment, and approval by the City Attorney. Address <br />the resulting comments and make the necessary changes <br />in the document. <br /> <br />Task 4-5: Bidding Document--Assemble a final and com- <br />plete contract document for the CITY's use in bidding <br />or negotiating the cost of construction for those items <br />in Task 4. Revise the general legal sections prepared <br />in Task 4-4 to accommodate the proposed construction. <br /> <br /> <br />
