July 1st of each year. Each confidential employee <br /> shall be credited with three (3) floating holidays on <br /> July 1st each year. Confidential employees hired full- <br /> time after July 1st, but on or before December 31st, of <br /> any given year shall be credited with one floating <br /> holiday. Floating holidays must be observed in the <br /> fiscal year in which they are credited. <br /> <br />Section 6.4 Vacation <br />6.4(1) Vacation Eliqibility/Allowance <br /> <br /> Full-time management and confidential employees, except <br /> fire battalion chiefs, with six or more months of <br /> service shall be entitled to vacation with pay in <br /> accordance with the following schedule: <br /> <br /> (1) One (1) through four (4) years of continuous <br /> service - ten (10) vacation days. <br /> <br /> (2) Five (5) through ten (10) years of continuous <br /> service - fifteen (15) vacation days. <br /> <br /> (3) Eleven (11) through eighteen (18) years of contin- <br /> uous service - twenty (20) vacation days. <br /> <br /> (4) Nineteen (19) years of continuous service and <br /> above - twenty-five (25) vacation days. <br /> <br /> (5) Accrued vacation shall be credited to the employ- <br /> ee's account upon his/her anniversary date each <br /> year. <br /> <br /> Fire Battalion Chiefs with six months or more of ser- <br /> vice will be entitled to vacation in accordance with <br /> the following schedule: <br /> <br /> (1) One (1) through five (5) years of continuous <br /> service .- 6 shifts. <br /> <br /> (2) Six (6) through twelve (12) years of continuous <br /> service - 8 shifts. <br /> (3) Thirteen (13) through fifteen (15) years of con- <br /> tinuous service - 10 shifts. <br /> <br /> (4) Sixteen (16) through seventeen (17) years of <br /> continuous service - 11 shifts. <br /> <br /> (5) Eighteen (18) years and over - 12 shifts. <br /> Management and confidential employees, except a <br /> probationary employee, may be allowed to incur a <br /> <br /> - 8 - <br /> <br /> <br />
