Resolution No. 89-187 <br /> Page Two <br /> <br /> Section 1: The Fire Inspector is ordered to abate the <br /> nuisance declared by Resolution No. 89-136 by <br /> having the weeds, rubbish, and refuse removed and <br /> for this purpose, the Fire Inspector may enter upon <br /> private property to abate the nuisance. Before the <br /> Fire Inspector arrives, any property owner may <br /> remove the weeds, rubbish or refuse at their own <br /> expense. <br /> <br /> Section 2: The Fire Inspector or the contractor awarded the <br /> work by the city for removal of weeds, rubbish, or <br /> refuse, as the case may be, shall keep an account <br /> of the cost of abatement in front of or on each <br /> separate parcel of land where the work is done and <br /> shall submit to the City Council for consideration, <br /> hearing or objections, modification and <br /> confirmation, an itemized written report showing <br /> the cost, all as more particularly described by <br /> Government Code Section 39574. <br /> <br /> Section 3: This resolution shall become effective <br /> immediately upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br /> THIS RESOLUTION ADOPTED APRIL 18, 1989 BY THE FOLLOWING <br /> VOTE: <br /> <br /> AYES: Councilmembers - Brandes, Mohr, Tarver, and Vice <br /> Mayor Butler <br /> NOES: None <br /> ABSENT: Mayor Mercer /~~ <br /> ABSTAIN: None <br /> <br /> ATTEST: KENNETH R.
