Task 3--LandscaDin~ Studies Additional landscaping studies shall be performed by the CONSULTANT to investigate existing landscape plans and their relationship to current Caltrans policy of acceptance and maintenance. Using the results of the investigation, the CONSULTANT shall develop various landscape plans showing different densities of planting for the Stoneridge Drive ~nterchange. The CONSULTANT shall meet with the CITY to explain and shcw examples of existing landscape plans and again to present the various plans for the Stoneridge Drive Interchange. The CONSULTANT shall discuss the available options and assist the CITY to develop a landscaping policy and preliminary standards to be used on all interchange improvement pro~ects funded by the CITY. The CONSULTANT may be requested to attend additional meetings with various CITY departments to present and discuss the landscape policy and the Stoneridge Drive Interchange landscape plan in particular and how it would apply to other pro~ects. Task 4--Contract Document Addenda The CONSULTANT shall assist the CITY in issuing addenda to the contract document produced in Task 1 for the "Advertised Contract." The addenda shall incorporate the revisions re- quired by Caltrans resulting from their reviews that were completed after the project was advertised. In addition to minor corrections, the CONSULTANT will assist the CITY to prepare an incentive specification for early completion of the construction. The CONSULTANT shall perform research to locate and review existing incentive specifica- tions used on other projects. The CONSULTANT shall then prepare an incentive specification compatible with the con- struction of the Stoneridge Drive Interchange. The speci- fication shall then be reviewed and discussed with the CITY; appropriate revisions will then be made and the resulting approved incentive specification for early completion of construction will then be incorporated into a contract adden- dum to be issued to all planholders. Other revisions requested by the CITY or required by Ca!trans after the pro~ect is advertised for bids will be assembled into contract addenda and issued to all planholders as directed by the CITY. The CONSULTANT shall reproduce suffi- cient quantities of each addenda to issue to all planholders and Caltrans. The CITY will distribute all plans and addenda to appropriate parties.
