Step 5. Notification of tenants. <br /> <br /> Once qualified, applicants will be notified of their <br /> eligibility status and informed of the next steps in <br /> the process. <br /> <br /> Step 6. The lottery. <br /> <br /> Once all tenants have been pre-qualified and <br /> classified, a lottery supervised by EHI Board Members <br /> or City of Pleasanton staff as designated, will be <br /> conducted based on their classification. One primary <br /> tenant will be drawn for every unit in each unit size <br /> category. As many back-up tenants as there are <br /> available applications will be used to establish a <br /> waiting-list for future vacancies. <br /> <br />B. Develop marketing materials. <br /> <br /> A project brochure will be developed to inform prospective <br /> tenants of the benefits and requirements of leasing at Ridge <br /> View Commons. A section of the brochure will be devoted to a <br /> description of the selection process. An advertising flyer <br /> will be developed as an outreach tool if determined as <br /> necessary. <br /> <br />C. Community outreach efforts. <br /> <br /> To ensure that all prospective tenants are made aware of the <br /> housing opportunity at Ridge View Commons, a process will be <br /> developed to ensure that marketing materials are made <br /> available. <br /> <br />D. Establish a sales office. <br /> <br /> Open a Pleasanton-based sales office at the Home Place, located <br /> at 5976 West Las Positas Boulevard, Suite 118, Pleasanton, CA. <br /> The Home Place will be subcontracting from EHI/PMS to handle <br /> the interviewing and screening of tenants. Once all the <br /> preliminary information and application packet has been <br /> distributed, they will set appointments and hold the interviews <br /> at the Pleasanton office. They will turn over to EHI/PMS all <br /> screened and qualified prospective tenants for inclusion in the <br /> proposed lottery. <br /> <br />E. Hold the lottery. <br /> <br /> A lottery will be held once the process described above in <br /> Section A 1-5 is complete. Upon tenants selection, move-ins <br /> will be scheduled by the on-site manager and EHI/PMS. <br /> <br /> - 5 - <br /> <br /> <br />
