PLANNING COMMISSION <br />CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />COUNTY OF ALAMEDA <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br />RESOLUTION N0. 2497 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE <br />CITY OF PLEASANTON RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF <br />A MODIFICATION TO CASE PUD-81-30 AS IT RELATES TO <br />CASE PUD-81-30-16D AND RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF <br />CASE PUD-81-30-16D <br />WHEREAS, Callahan-Pentz Properties have applied for a minor <br />modification to the building setback and landscaping <br />requirements of the Hacienda Business Park as it pertains <br />to the four building commercial/office complex proposed <br />for the 6.328 acre site located south of the intersection <br />of Gibraltar Drive and Stoneridge Drive on the east <br />side of Gibraltar Drive; and <br />WHEREAS, Callahan-Pentz Properties are also applying for design <br />review of a four building commercial./office complex <br />proposed for this same site; and <br />WHEREAS, zoning for the property is PUD-Industrial, Commercial <br />and Offices District; and <br />WHEREAS, an environmental impact report was prepared for the <br />zoning of the Hacienda Business Park. A development <br />of the type proposed on the subject property was included <br />within the scope of that EIR. For this reason, case <br />PUD-81-30-16D does not constitute a new project and <br />no environmental document accompanies this case; and <br />WHEREAS, at their duly noticed public hearing of July 11, 1984 <br />the Planning Commission considered all public input, <br />relevant exhibits and recommendations of the City staff <br />concerning these proposals; and <br />WHEREAS, the staff recommended, based upon the applicant's justification <br />for the proposed modification that the modification <br />be recommended for approval and that the design of <br />the structures covered in case PUD-81-30-16D also be <br />recommended for approval. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES THE FOLLOWING: <br />Section 1. Recommends that building setback and landscaping <br />requirements for Hacienda Business Park as it relates <br />to case PUD-81-30-16D to allow encroachment of buildings <br />A and D into the required 75 foot building setback be approved. <br />Section 2. Recommends approval case PUD-81-30-16D, application <br />_ for design review of a four building commercial/office <br />complex proposed for the 6.328 acre site located immediately <br />south of the intersection of Gibraltar Drive and Stoneridge <br />Drive on the east side of Gibraltar Drive subject to <br />the following conditions: <br />
