VVff~~"11 <br />AN ORDINANCE RELATING TO AMUSEt~NT DEVICES AND <br />AMENDING IN ITS ENTIRETY ARTICLE II (PINBALL MACHINES), <br />CHAPTER 2, (SPECIAL PERPQITS)., TITLE IV (HEALTH, SAFETY, <br />MORALS AND GENERAL WELFARE) OF THE ORDINANCE CODE OF <br />THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: <br />Section 1, Article II (Pinball Machines), Chapter 2 (Special Permits), <br />Title IV (Health, Safety, Morals and General Welfare) of the <br />Ordinance Code of the City of Pleasanton is amended in its <br />entirety to read as follows: <br />Article 11 <br />APQUSEMENT DEVICES <br />§4-4.22 Definitions, As used in this article the following words <br />shall have the meaning given herein: <br />a. "Amusement device" is defined as any machine, apparatus, <br />appliance, or device now or in the future known which <br />may be operated or played upon, and as a result of the <br />play, action or operation of such machine, apparatus, <br />appliance or device, whether by skill or by chance, <br />a score or result of such play, action or operation <br />is in any way recorded, exhibited or made known, <br />including but not limited to tape machine, card <br />machine, marble game machine, horse racing machine, <br />football game machine, basketball game machine, <br />baseball game machine, pool game machine, video game <br />machine, or any other similar machine or device, <br />§4-4,23 Free Games, It shall be unlawful for any person to keep or <br />use in any public place any amusement device equipped with <br />any mechanism which cancels and records the cancellation of <br />free games won without the playing of said free games by the <br />player. <br />
