PLANNING COMMISSION <br />CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />COUNTY OF AL.AMEDA <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2144 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION RECOMMENDING <br />APPROVAL OF THE MITIGATED NEGATIVE DECLARATION <br />PREPARED FOR CASE PUD-82-2, MEADOW PLAZA ASSOCIATES <br />WHEREAS, at its meeting of March 10, 1982 the Planning <br />Commission received a proposed mitigated negative <br />declaration on the application of Meadow Plaza <br />Associates for P.U.D. (.Planned Unit Development) <br />zoning and development plan approval for a commercial <br />and office project consisting of five structures <br />totalling approximately 88,000 sq. ft. on an <br />approximately eight acre site located at the southeast <br />corner of West Las Positas Boulevard and Santa Rita <br />Road. Included in the project is a list of proposed <br />uses for the site. Zoning for the property is C-N <br />(Neighborhood Commercial) District; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has received and reviewed <br />the Initial Study dated b4arch 1, 1982 and received <br />the recommendations of the staff; and <br />_ WHEREAS, a duly noticed public hearing was held at which time <br />the public was given the opportunity to comment on <br />the environmental impacts of the proposed development <br />plan; and <br />SVHEREAS, the City Planning Commission has reviewed the potential <br />impacts in accordance with the applicable state and <br />local guidelines governing the preparation of mitigated <br />negative declarations and environmental impact reports; <br />and <br />WHEREAS, the Initial Study prepared by the City staff indicated <br />that there may be significant impacts upon the <br />environment, but that conditions of approval would <br />render these potential impacts insignificant. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br />Section 1. Recommends approval of a Mitigated Negative <br />Declaration for case PUD-82-2 as described above <br />subject to the mitigating conditions set forth in <br />the recommendation of project approval. <br />
