PLANNING COMMISSION <br />CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />COUNTY OF ALAMEDA <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2171 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION RECOMMENDING <br />APPROVAL OF A MITIGATED NEGATIVE DECLARATION AND <br />NEGATIVE DECLARATION PREPARED FOR CASE GP-82-3, <br />APPLICATION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON FOR CERTAIN <br />AMENDMENTS TO THE CIRCULATION AND GROWTH MANAGEMENT <br />ELEMENTS OF THE GENERAL PLAN <br />WHEREAS, Before the Hacienda Business Park Planned Unit <br />Development can be considered by the Planning Commission <br />and the City Council, certain amendments to the General <br />Plan will first need to be addressed - They are: <br />1. Delete the policy referring to a prohibition of <br />direct vehicular access to Hopyard Road from <br />adjacent properties between Interstate Freeway <br />580 and West Las Positas Boulevard; <br />2. Delete the policy referring to the routing of all <br />truck traffic generated from properties located <br />between Hopyard. Road and Santa Rita Road north of <br />West Las Positas Boulevard to the proposed frontage <br />road just south of I-580; <br />3. Increase the planned street width of West Las <br />Positas Boulevard between Interstate Freeway 680 <br />and Santa Rita Road from four lanes to six lanes; <br />4. Generally establish the width of Stoneridge Drive <br />and its alignment east of Hopyard Road; and <br />5. Modify, eliminate or redefine the goal relating to <br />the achievement and maintenance of a balance <br />among land uses within the Planning area. <br />6. Amend the Noise Element of the General Plan by <br />replacing the interim noise level standards found <br />in Table 5 with new interim noise level standards <br />consisting of adopted noise level standards of the federal <br />Department of Housing and Urban Development, <br />Environmental Protection Agency, the California <br />Noise Insulation Standards, and/or the adopted noise <br />level standards of any other state or federal agency <br />establishing noise level standards by land use category. <br />New noise level standards for individual land use <br />categories within Pleasanton may be those standards <br />adopted for similar areas in any of the adopted state <br />or federal standards listed above; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has received and reviewed the <br />two Initial Studies for the proposed project and received <br />the recommendations of the staff; and <br />
