PLANNING COMMISSION CITY OF PLEASANTON COUNTY OF ALAMEDA STATE OF CALIFORNIA RESOLUTION NO. 2171 A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF A MITIGATED NEGATIVE DECLARATION AND NEGATIVE DECLARATION PREPARED FOR CASE GP-82-3, APPLICATION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON FOR CERTAIN AMENDMENTS TO THE CIRCULATION AND GROWTH MANAGEMENT ELEMENTS OF THE GENERAL PLAN WHEREAS, Before the Hacienda Business Park Planned Unit Development can be considered by the Planning Commission and the City Council, certain amendments to the General Plan will first need to be addressed - They are: 1. Delete the policy referring to a prohibition of direct vehicular access to Hopyard Road from adjacent properties between Interstate Freeway 580 and West Las Positas Boulevard; 2. Delete the policy referring to the routing of all truck traffic generated from properties located between Hopyard. Road and Santa Rita Road north of West Las Positas Boulevard to the proposed frontage road just south of I-580; 3. Increase the planned street width of West Las Positas Boulevard between Interstate Freeway 680 and Santa Rita Road from four lanes to six lanes; 4. Generally establish the width of Stoneridge Drive and its alignment east of Hopyard Road; and 5. Modify, eliminate or redefine the goal relating to the achievement and maintenance of a balance among land uses within the Planning area. 6. Amend the Noise Element of the General Plan by replacing the interim noise level standards found in Table 5 with new interim noise level standards consisting of adopted noise level standards of the federal Department of Housing and Urban Development, Environmental Protection Agency, the California Noise Insulation Standards, and/or the adopted noise level standards of any other state or federal agency establishing noise level standards by land use category. New noise level standards for individual land use categories within Pleasanton may be those standards adopted for similar areas in any of the adopted state or federal standards listed above; and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has received and reviewed the two Initial Studies for the proposed project and received the recommendations of the staff; and
