PLANNING COMMISSION <br />CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />COUNTY OF ALAMEDA <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2008 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY <br />OF PLEASANTON RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF A MITIGATED <br />NEGATIVE DECLARATION PREPARED FOR A HILLSIDE PLANNED <br />DEVELOPMENT FOR CASTLEWOOD PROPERTIES, INC. AS FILED <br />UNDER CASE PUD(HPD)-80-12 <br />WHEREAS, Castlewood Properties, Inc. has applied for development plan <br />approval for a Hillside Planned Development for the approxi- <br />mately 48 acre site located on the west side of Foothill <br />Road, just north of Bernal Avenue for a 24-lot, 25,000 sq.ft. <br />minimum lot size, single-family residential development; and <br />WHEREAS, the property is zoned HPD (Hillside Planned Development) <br />District; and <br />WHEREAS, a public hearing was held on May 27, 1981 at which time all <br />public testimony and documents were considered; and <br />WHEREAS, said proposal was based upon an Initial Study done pursuant <br />to the Environmental Impact Guidelines and Procedures <br />adopted by the City Council of the City of Pleasanton by <br />Resolution No. 77-66; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission at its meeting of May 13, 1981, <br />received the Initial Study and proposed Mitigated Negative <br />Declaration in a report from the Director of Planning and <br />Community Development dated December 8, 1980, revised <br />May 13, 1981 regarding the aforementioned project; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission was advised by the City Attorney <br />of its responsibilities in reviewing the proposed Negative <br />Declaration and the determinations required by Section 5.4(e) <br />of Resolution No. 77-66; and <br />WHEREAS, each member of the Planning Commission had before him/her <br />copies of Resolution No. 77-66 at the time of considering <br />the proposed Negative Declaration and Initial Study; and <br />WHEREAS, the public was afforded an opportunity to comment on the <br />proposed environmental assessment, which had previously <br />been published in the Pleasanton Times, at the time of <br />the public on the aforementioned project; and <br />/// <br />
