WHEREAS, upon receipt of the staff report and public input, the
Planning Commission reviewed the provisions of the City's ~
Guidelines and Processing Procedures for the evaluation of
projects and preparation of Environmental Impact Reports
as they pertain to requirements for Negative Declarations and
Environmental Impact Reports in order to determine if a
Negative Declaration is appropriate for the project and
what mitigation measures, if any, must be undertaken to
ensure that the project will not have a significant
impact upon the environment.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The Planning Commission reviewed the contents of
Resolution No. 77-66 (Environmental Impact Guidelines and
Procedures) as they pertain to the requirements for Negative
Declarations and Environmental Impact Reports and determines
that the project requested in PUD-81-4 would not have any
significant effects on the environment to require the
preparation of an Environmental Impact Report.
Section 2. Although the Initial Study identified certain aspects of
the project as having potential significant adverse environ-
mental effects, said effects can be. rendered insignificant
by the inclusion of conditions shown in Planning Commission
Resolution No. 2025, specifically condition #33.
Section 3. This resolution shall become effective immediately upon ~
its passage and adoption. ~
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Planning Commission of the City of Pleasanton
on the 15th day of July 1981 by the following vote:
AYES: Commissioners Doherty, Jamieson, Lindsey, Wilson and
Chairperson Getty
NOES: None
ABSENT: None
ABSTAIN: None
DATE: July 15, 1981
ATTEST:
'~ .
