AGREEMENT FOR <br /> MAINTENANCE AND OPERATION <br /> _ OF THE <br /> PLEASANTON LIBRARY <br /> <br /> This Agreement is made and entered into on this, the day <br /> <br />of , 19_, by and between the City of Pleasanton, a municipal <br /> <br />corporation, (hereinafter referred to as City), and the County of Alameda, a <br />body corporate and politic of the State of California (hereinafter referred to <br />as County.) <br /> <br /> WITNESS <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Pleasanton has recently completed construction of a <br />new facility called the Pleasanton Library on land owned by the City located <br /> <br />at ; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the facility is intended to be used as the primary site from <br />which library service is provided for residents of the City of Pleasanton; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to Education Code Section lglO0, et seq., the Alameda <br />County Library has been organized; and <br /> <br /> <br />
