PLANNING COMMISSION <br />CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />COUNTY OF ALAMEDA <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br />RESOLUTION N0. 2537 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF <br />PLEASANTON RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF A REZONING REQUEST <br />FOR ALAMEDA COUNTY FLOOD CONTROL AS FILED UNDER CASE <br />RZ-84-15 <br />WHEREAS, Alameda County Flood Control et al has applied to rezone <br />an approximately 3.3 acre site from the "A" <br />(Agricultural) District to the "P" (Public and <br />Institutional) District for the property located at the <br />northeast corner of the intersection of Parkside Drive <br />and Hopyard Road; and <br />WHEREAS, at their duly noticed public hearing of September 26, <br />1984 the Planning Commission considered all public <br />testimony, relevant exhibits and recommendations of the <br />City staff concerning this application and recommended <br />approval of the negative declaration for this case; and <br />WHEREAS, "P" (Public and Institutional) is in conformance with <br />-- the proposed general plan land use designation for this <br />property as recommended by the Planning Commission at <br />this same public hearing. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES THE FOLLOWING: <br />Section <br />Recommends approval of case RZ-84-15 rezoning the <br />approximately 3.3 acre site located at the northeast <br />corner of the intersection of Parkside Drive and Hopyard <br />Road from the "A" (Agricultural) District to the "P" <br />(Public and Institutional) District subject to the <br />following conditions: <br />That Zone 7 shall apply for architectural and site <br />review in accordance with Article 19 of the <br />Pleasanton Ordinance Code prior to constructing <br />their administrative offices or in any other way <br />improving the subject site. <br />That the applicant be aware that improvements to the <br />Hopyard Road/Parkside Drive intersection will <br />necessitate the use of a portion of the Hopyard Road <br />and Parkside Drive frontages of the subject property <br />for street right-of-way purposes. <br />That approval of this case is subject to the <br />approval o case GP-84-8 and any conditions which may <br />be attached thereto. <br />
