PLANNING COMMISSION <br />CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />COUNTY OF ALAMEDA <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2568 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF <br />PLEASANTON APPROVING A CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT FOR HERB <br />CAMARA AS FILED UNDER CASE UP-84-54 <br />WHEREAS, Herb Camara, ICD and Associates, Inc. have applied for a <br />conditional use permit to operate a cafe-snack shop at <br />an existing office building located on the east side of <br />Santa Rita Road north of 2324 Santa Rita Road; and <br />WHEREAS, zoning for the property is O (Office) District; and <br />WHEREAS, at their duly noticed public hearing of November 14, <br />1984 the Planning Commission considered all public <br />testimony, relevant exhibits and recommendations of the <br />City staff concerning this application; and <br />WHEREAS, the public hearing was continued to November 28, 1984 <br />because there was a question as to how many square feet <br />of space the applicant would be using; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission found a) that the proposed <br />location of the conditional use is in accord with the <br />objectives of the ordinance code and the purposes of the <br />Neighborhood Commercial district in which the site is <br />located; b) that the proposed location of the <br />conditional use and the conditions under which it would <br />be operated or maintained will not be detrimental to the <br />public health, safety or welfare, or be materially <br />injurious to properties or improvements in the vicinity; <br />and c) that the proposed conditional use will comply <br />with each of the applicable provisions of the ordinance <br />code. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES THE FOLLOWING: <br />Section 1. Approves case UP-84-54, application of Herb Camara as <br />herein described subject to the following conditions: <br />1. That the restaurant location and improvements be <br />substantially as shown on the site plan and floor <br />plan, Exhibit A, on file with the Planning <br />Department but that the restaurant occupy no more <br />than 899 sq. ft. and have no more than 12 seats. <br />2. That four parking spaces in the on-site parking lot <br />be designated specifically for restaurant use only. <br />
