LEASE AGREEMENT <br /> <br /> THIS LEASE AGREEMENT, made this __day of , <br /> <br />1989, by and between the CITY OF PLEASANTON, a municipal <br /> <br />corporation of the State of California (hereinafter referred <br />to as "Lessor"), and the LIVERMORE-AMADOR VALLEY HISTORICAL <br /> <br />SOCIETY (hereinafter referred to as "Lessee"). <br /> RECITALS: <br />A. Lessee is a nonprofit organization organized to <br />provide services throughout the Livermore-Amador Valley. <br />B. Lessee is and has been a tenant of Lessor, leasing <br /> <br />a City-owned facility at 603 Main Street, Pleasanton, <br />California for the purpose of operating a non-profit <br />historical museum for the benefit of the general public. <br /> <br /> C. Lessor desires to continue to provide said facility <br />to Lessee and Lessee desires to retain the lease to the <br />facility. <br /> <br /> In consideration of the mutual covenants contained <br />herein, the parties agree as follows: <br /> <br /> 1. Subject of Lease. Lessor leases to Lessee the <br />building commonly known as the Old City Hall Building, lo- <br />cated at 603 Main Street, Pleasanton, California, for the <br />purposes contained herein. <br /> <br /> 2. Term. This lease shall begin on December 1, 1988 <br />and shall terminate on November 30, 1993, except as otherwise <br />provided in this Agreement. <br /> <br /> <br />
