PLANNING COMMISSION <br />CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />COUNTY OF ALAMEDA <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2636 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF <br />PLEASANTON RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF CASE PUD-85-3, <br />APPLICATION OF SENTE ASSOCIATES MAIN STREET AND CLYDE <br />VAUGHN <br />WHEREAS, Sente Associates Main and Clyde Vaughn have applied for <br />PUD (Planned Unit Development) zoning and development <br />plan approval to develop a two building office/retail <br />complex consisting of 20,004 sq. ft. and 22,440 sq. ft. <br />structures. The former being the renovation of 450 Main <br />Street and the latter being new construction at 400 Main <br />Street; and <br />WHEREAS, current zoning for the site is C-C (Central Commercial) <br />District and it is proposed to be rezoned to the PUD <br />(Planned Unit Development)-CC (Central Commercial) <br />District; and <br />WHEREAS, at their duly noticed public hearing of April 10, 1985 <br />the Planning Commission considered all public testimony, <br />relevant exhibits and recommendations of the City staff <br />concerning this application and recommended approval of <br />the Negative Declaration for this project; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission found that the proposed PUD <br />conforms to the General Plan of the City of Pleasanton. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES THE FOLLOWING: <br />Section 1. Recommends approval of Case PUD-85-3 as herein <br />described subject to the following conditions: <br />That the development shall be substantially as shown <br />on the development plan, Exhibit A, on file with the <br />Planning Department, except that the 5 ft. wide <br />planter adjacent to Hap's Restaurant shall be <br />removed, the driveway moved approximately 5 ft. <br />farther east and all standard size parking spaces <br />shall be at least 8 ft. 8 in. wide. <br />2. That the applicant shall present a plan for <br />protecting the western wall of Hap's Restaurant to <br />the staff for approval prior to occupancy of the 450 <br />Main Street building. <br />
