PLANNING COMMISSION <br />CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />COUNTY OF ALAMEDA <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2673 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF <br />PLEASANTON RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF CASE PUD-85-9, <br />APPLICATION OF GEF FINANCIAL CORPORATION <br />WHEREAS, GEF Financial Corporation has applied for rezoning and <br />development plan approval to construct a two and three <br />story, 132 unit retirement hotel complex on an <br />approximately 2.5 acre site located on the southeast <br />corner of Foothill Road and Stoneridge Drive; and <br />WHEREAS, zoning for the property is PUD (Planned Unit <br />Development)-Commercial Office District; and <br />WHEREAS, at their duly noticed public hearing of July 24, 1985 <br />the Planning Commission considered all public testimony, <br />relevant exhibits and recommendations of the City staff <br />concerning this application; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission found the proposal to be <br />consistent with the zoning and general plan land use <br />designation for the subject site. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES THE FOLLOWING: <br />Section 1. Recommends approval of the Case PUD-85-9, <br />application of GEF Financial Corporation for rezoning <br />and development plan approval to construct a two and <br />three story, 132 unit retirement hotel complex on an <br />approximately 2.5 acre site located on the southeast <br />corner of Foothill Road and SToneridge Drive subject to <br />the following conditions: <br />1. That the development be substantially as shown on <br />the development plan, Exhibit A, on file with the <br />Planning Division. <br />2. That colors and building materials for all <br />structures be submitted to the Planning Division for <br />approval prior to issuance of any building permit. <br />3. That a minimum 3 ft. wide landscape strip be <br />maintained between the smaller parking lot in the <br />southeast corner of the site and the proposed <br />masonry wall. <br />
