PLANNING COMMISSION CITY OF PLEASANTON COUNTY OF ALAMEDA STATE OF CALIFORNIA RESOLUTION NO. 2687 A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON APPROVING THE DESIGN OF AN INTERIM HELIPORT FOR PRUDENTIAL INSURANCE COMPANY OF AMERICA AS FILED UNDER CASE Z-85-176 WHEREAS, Prudential Insurance Company of America has applied to construct an interim heliport on a portion of an approximately 2.3 acre site located on the southwest corner of Owens Drive and Chabot Drive; and WHEREAS, zoning for the property is IG (General Industrial) District; and WHEREAS, at the request of the Design Review Board this item was removed from their agenda and placed on the agenda for full Planning Commission review; and WHEREAS, at their duly noticed public hearing of August 14, 1985 the Planning Commission approved a mitigated negative declaration for the design and use of the heliport after considering all public testimony, relevant exhibits and recommendations of the City staff concerning the heliport; WHEREAS, the proposed heliport design conforms with the FAA Advisory Circular Guidelines. NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES THE FOLLOWING: Section 1. Approves Case Z-85-176, application of Prudential Insurance Company of America for design review approval to construct an interim heliport on a portion of an approximately 2.3 acre site located on the southwest corner of Owens Drive and Chabot Drive subject to the following conditions: 1. That the heliport facility substantially conform with plans, Exhibit A, on file with the Planning Department except: a) that overall landscape improvements be increased to better screen the passenger ticketing trailer and provide adequate dust control to the satisfaction of staff; b) that plans of the passenger trailer exterior be provided for staff review and approval indicating
