LEASE AGREEMENT <br /> <br /> THIS LEASE AGREEMENT, made this __day of , <br /> <br />19 , by and between the CITY OF PLEASANTON, a municipal <br /> <br />corporation of the State of California (hereinafter referred <br /> <br />to as "Lessor"), and the VALLEY VOLUNTEER BUREAU, INC. (here- <br /> <br />inafter referred to as "Lessee"). <br /> RECITALS: <br /> <br /> A. Lessee is a nonprofit organization organized to <br />provide services throughout the Livermore-Amador Valley. <br /> <br /> B. Lessee is and has been a tenant of Lessor, leasing <br />office space in the property commonly known as the Police <br />Annex Building located at 333 Division Street. <br /> <br /> C. Lessor desires to continue to provide office space <br />to Lessee and Lessee desires to continue leasing said space. <br /> <br /> In consideration of the mutual covenants contained <br />herein, the parties agree as follows: <br /> <br /> 1. Subject of Lease. Lessor leases to Lessee the <br />building commonly known as the Police Annex Building, 333 <br />Division Street, for the purposes contained herein. <br /> <br /> 2. Term. This lease shall begin on December 1, 1988 <br />and shall terminate on November 30, 1993, except as otherwise <br />provided in this Agreement. <br /> <br /> 3. Rental. Lessee covenants and agrees to pay Lessor <br />as rent for one year the sum of ONE AND NO/100THS DOLLAR <br />($1.00) . <br /> <br /> <br />
