PLANNING COMMISSION <br />CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />COUNTY OF ALAMEDA <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2702 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF <br />PLEASANTON RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF A DEVELOPMENT PLAN <br />AND REZONING APPLICATION FILED BY JOHN PAYNE, ET AL <br />UNDER CASE PUD-85-7 <br />WHEREAS, John Payne, et al have applied to rezone a 2.G acre site <br />located at 4089 and 4129 Stanley Boulevard from the <br />R-1-20,000 (Single-family Residential) District to PUD <br />(Planned Unit Development) District and for approval of <br />a development plan for a 38-unit townhouse project; and <br />WHEREAS, at their duly noticed public hearing of September 11, <br />1985 the Planning Commission considered all public <br />testimony, relevant exhibits and recommendations of the <br />City staff concerning this application; and <br />WHEREAS, at this same duly noticed public hearing the Planning <br />Commission recommended approval of the Negative <br />Declaration proposed for this Case; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission finds that PUD (Planned Unit <br />Development)-High Density Residential conforms to the <br />recommended land use designation of High Density <br />Residential. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES THE FOLLOWING: <br />Section 1. Recommends approval of Case PUD-85-7 to rezone the <br />approximately 2.6 acre site located at 4089 and 4129 <br />Stanley Boulevard from the R-1-10,000 (Single-family <br />Residential) District to the PUD (Planned Unit <br />Development) District and for approval of a development <br />plan for a 38-unit townhouse project subject to the <br />following conditions: <br />1. That the development be substantially as shown on <br />the development plan, Exhibit A, on file with the <br />Planning Department. <br />2. That the developer follow all recommendations <br />contained in the tree report for saving the trees <br />identified as to be saved on the site plan. Such <br />measures shall include but not necessarily be <br />limited to providing barricades around the trees to <br />protect their trunks, roots and low hanging <br />branches.
