Temporary signs are prohibited except at businesses <br />where the principal use is the retail sale of food <br />or foodstuffs. Temporary signs when allowed under <br />this Article shall be permitted only in strict <br />accordance with a conceptual scheme for temporary <br />signs approved by the Board of Design Review for <br />each separate building or use in the District. <br />7. EXTRAORDINARY TEMPORARY SIGNS <br />Extraordinary temporary signs are exempt from these <br />regulations. An extraordinary temporary sign is any <br />window sign displayed at any business and maintained <br />for five (5) or fewer days on not more than three <br />(3) occasions per year under circumstances deemed by <br />the owner of the subject building or use to be <br />extraordinary and infeasible to comply with the <br />adopted sign program for that business. ao~nsegt~xa~ <br />.+7 -. +.. 04 nAinen+ +.. the aAn.++nd <br />n-. The Zoning Administrator shall be <br />notified on the first day such an extraordina~ <br />tem~ora~signis installed, indicating the number <br />of times such signs have been used; if no notice is <br />given, the sign shall be an illegal sign. <br />8.
