PLANNING COMMISSION <br />CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />COUNTY OF ALAMEDA <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2719 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF <br />PLEASANTON RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF THE CASE PUD-85-17 <br />FOR HACIENDA GARDEN APARTMENTS <br />WHEREAS, CPP has applied for rezoning and development plan <br />approval to allow the construction of a 412 unit <br />apartment complex on an approximately 16 acre site <br />located on the north side of Andrews Drive between West <br />Las Positas Boulevard and Old Santa Rita Road; and <br />WHEREAS, zoning for the property is PUD (Planned Unit <br />Development)-RM-2500 District; and <br />WHEREAS, at their meeting of October 23, 1985 the Planning <br />Commission recommended approval of a proposed negative <br />declaration for Case PUD-85-17 after considering all <br />public testimony, and recommendations of the City staff, <br />and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission found the proposed Planned Unit <br />Development-High Density Residential zoning and the <br />proposed development plan consistent with the General <br />Plan land use designation for the subject property. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION RESOLVES THE FOLLOWING; <br />Section 1. Recommends approval of the development plan and PUD <br />(Planned Unit Development ) - High Density Residential <br />zoning proposed to allow the construction of a 412 unit <br />apartment complex on an approximately 16 acre site <br />located on the north side of Andrews Drive between Owens <br />Drive and Old Santa Rita Road subject to the following <br />conditions: <br />1. That the development be substantially as shown on <br />the plans, Exhibit A, on file with the Planning <br />Department. <br />2. That the exact location and design of the child <br />play area be submitted for review to the Planning <br />Director prior to the issuance of any building <br />permits. <br />3. That the applicant work with staff in revising the <br />clerestory window features of the split roof line <br />to include additional architectural character. <br />
