30. That the developer be responsible for the installation of the <br />street lighting system serving the development. The street <br />lights shall be 70 watt, high pressure sodium vapor units mounted <br />on galvanized steel poles with poured in place bases,on the LS-1C <br />schedule per City requirements and P.G.&E. standard details <br />unless otherwise specifically approved. Approval for the number, <br />location, and type of electroliers shall be withheld pending <br />final design and review by the City Engineer. <br />31. That this development provide a safe and effective circulation <br />system for bicycles and pedestrians. These facilities shall be <br />designed and installed to the satisfaction of the City Engineer <br />and shall be separated from vehicular traffic whenever possible. <br />32. That the developer submit detailed landscape and irrigation plans <br />as part of the improvement plans. These plans should include, <br />where applicable, a street tree planting plan and any <br />right-of-way landscape areas. The irrigation plan shall provide <br />automatic controls. <br />33. That any damage to street improvements now existing or done <br />during construction on the subject property be repaired to the <br />satisfaction of the City Engineer at full expense to the <br />developer." This shall include slurry seal, overlay, or street <br />reconstruction if deemed warranted by the City Engineer. <br />34. That the street frontage improvements for Foothill Road shall be <br />generally as shown on the Foothill Road cross-section, "Exhibit <br />A", attached, and shall include the following: <br />1. P.C.C. Curb and gutter along the east side of Foothill Road <br />across the entire frontage of the development. <br />2. The traffic island on Foothill Road, south of the Puri Court <br />intersection shall be a raised island with 8" high P.C.C. <br />curbs and either landscaped or paved with concrete or other <br />approved surface. <br />3. An eight foot (8') wide P.C.C. sidewalk shall be installed <br />along the east side of Foothill Road within the 30' reserve <br />area. This sidewalk shall be separated from the curb by a <br />minimum of six feet and shall extend from the curb return at <br />Foothill Knolls Drive north to a transition near the <br />north-west property corner of the development. <br />4. That the area between the street and the sidewalk shall be <br />landscaped with native and drought resistant plant material <br />with irrigation as required. <br />5. Street and bike lane signing shall be designed and installed <br />as required. <br />6. Striping and laning shall be designed and installed as <br />required. <br />
