Resolution No. 2728 <br />November 13, 1985 <br />if found necessary by the City Engineer, a temporary <br />turn-around shall be installed at the end of the <br />common access easement. <br />3. That no structures shall be built within a 15 ft. <br />wide strip of land parallel with and adjacent to <br />Interstate 580 unless reserve area unless otherwise <br />approved by the City Engineer. <br />4. That no banners, pennants, or attraction getting <br />devices shall be allowed on the site in conjunction <br />with the car sales at any time. <br />5. That the applicant shall apply to CalTrans to <br />landscape the right-of-way along the highway <br />corridor. This area shall be maintained by the <br />applicant unless otherwise determined by CalTrans. <br />A final landscape plan for the subject site and the <br />CalTrans right-of-way shall be submitted to the <br />Planning Department for approval prior to issuance <br />of a building permit. <br />6. That the applicant shall apply to CalTrans to <br />replace the existing chain link fence with the <br />proposed fence design. <br />7. That the applicant work with the developers of the <br />adjacent BMW car dealership in order to install a <br />single chain link fence along their common property <br />line. <br />8. That the sign program be continued in order to allow <br />staff and the Planning Commission adequate time to <br />generate criteria for auto dealership signs. <br />9. That the southernmost common entrance driveway shall <br />be redesigned to the satisfaction of the Engineering <br />Department in order to accommodate two lanes of <br />traffic, curbside parallel parking and a landscaped <br />center median. <br />10. That on-site operations shall be limited to new and <br />used car sales and service only. And that at no <br />time shall any service work, including oil change, <br />body work, mechanical work, etc., be conducted <br />outside of the interior service areas. In addition, <br />there shall be no outdoor storage of wrecked or <br />long-time inoperative vehicles. <br />11. That the entire site shall be maintained in a clean <br />and orderly manner at all times. No car <br />parts dilapidated vehicles, tires or related <br />automotive equipment be stored outside of the <br />service area. <br />
