PLANNING COMMISSION <br />CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />COUNTY OF ALAMEDA <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2766 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF <br />PLEASANTON APPROVING A CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT FOR <br />PONDEROSA INDUSTRIES, INC. AS FILED UNDER CASE UP-86-3 <br />WHEREAS, Ponderosa Industries, Inc. has applied for a <br />conditional use permit to allow for the establishment <br />of an energy conservation exhibit in an existing model <br />home sales complex located at 7017 Corte Blanca; and <br />WHEREAS, zoning for the property is R-1-6500 (Single-family <br />Residential) District; and <br />WHEREAS, at their duly noticed public hearing of February 26, <br />1986 the Planning Commission considered all public <br />testimony, relevant exhibits and recommendations of the <br />City staff concerning the application; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission found a) that the proposed <br />location of the conditional use is in accordance with <br />the objectives of the zoning ordinance and the purposes <br />of the district in which the site is located. It is <br />consistent with the existing model home sales complex <br />and will not interfere with residential uses in the <br />adjacent area; b) that the proposed location of the <br />conditional use and the conditions under which it would <br />be operated or maintained will not be detrimental to <br />the public health, safety, or welfare, or materially <br />injurious to the properties or improvements in the <br />vicinity. The proposed location is within the existing <br />model home complex and is to be located indoors. <br />Additional traffic generated should be minimal and <br />ample parking is provided; c) that the proposed <br />conditional use will comply with each of the applicable <br />provisions of this chapter; and as proposed and <br />conditioned, each applicable provision will be <br />satisfied. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES THE FOLLOWING: <br />Section 1. Approves Case UP-86-3, application for a conditional <br />use permit to allow for the establishment of an energy <br />conservation exhibit in an existing model home sales <br />complex located at 7017 Corte Blanca subject to the <br />following conditions: <br />- 1 - <br />
