Resolution No. 2782 4/9/86 The proposed uses are in compliance with the Uniform Building Code, Fire Code and other applicable provisions of the Ordinance Code and other applicable regulations. NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION RESOLVES THE FOLLOWING: Section 1. Approves Case UP-86-12, application of Investec, Inc. for a conditional use permit to operate an automobile washing facility/service station/automobile leasing (limousine service), to be located on an approximately 1.25 acre site located at the southeast corner of the intersection of California Avenue and Washington Street subject to the following conditions: 1. That this use permit is for the establishment of a car wash facility, gasoline pumping facilities, and a limousine operation as shown on the site plan, Exhibit A, on file with the Planning Department. 2. That the applicant apply for and be issued all required City permits prior to the commencement of business. 3. That at no time shall the gift shop/customer waiting area ever become more than just an incidental operation of the car wash facility. 4. That at no time shall separate marketing and advertising be utilized to promote the gift shop as a separate commercial operation. 5. That there shall be no outside storage of wrecked or inoperative vehicles allowed on the site at any time. 6. That there shall be no outside display of commercial items (tires, wheels, wax, automotive accessories, etc.) allowed at any time. 7. That no pennants, banners, balloons or any other unauthorized attention getting signs be utilized on the site at any time. ection 2. This resolution shall become effective 15 days after its passage and adoption.
