PLANNING COMMISSION <br />CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />COUNTY OF ALAMEDA <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2783 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY <br />OF PLEASANTON RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF CASE <br />PUD-85-16, CAROLINE/WESTERLIND <br />WHEREAS, Brad Caroline and Jon Westerlind have applied for <br />rezoning from RM-4000 (Multi-family Residential) <br />District to the PUD (Planned Unit Development)-High <br />Density Residential District and development plan <br />approval to construct a two-story, two-unit apartment <br />complex on an approximately 10,100 square foot site with <br />an existing residence, located at 3939 Vineyard Avenue; <br />and <br />WHEREAS, the proposed project is exempt from the requirements of <br />the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA); and <br />WHEREAS, at their duly noticed public hearing of April 23, 1986 <br />the Planning Commission considered all public testimony, <br />relevant exhibits and recommendations of the City staff <br />concerning this proposal; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission found this proposal to be in <br />conformance with the General Plan of the City of <br />Pleasanton. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE;: PLANNING COMMISSION RESOLVES THE FOLLOWING: <br />Section 1. Recommends approval of Case PUD-85-16, the <br />application of Brad Caroline and Jon Westerlind for <br />rezoning from RM-4000 (Multi-family Residential) <br />District to the PUD (Planned Unit Development)-High <br />Density Residential District and development plan <br />approval to construct a two-story, two-unit apartment <br />complex on an approximately 10,100 square foot site with <br />an existing residence located at 3939 Vineyard Avenue <br />subject to the following conditions: <br />1. That the development plan shall substantially <br />conform to the plans, Exhibit A, on file with the <br />Planning Department, except as modified by these <br />conditions. <br />2. That the applicant repaint the exterior of the <br />existing residence to a color that is complementary <br />to the proposed color scheme of the new structure. <br />The exact color and time frame for the work shall be <br />submitted and approved by the Planning Director <br />prior to the issuance of any building permits. <br />
