Alarm System Requirements. All <br />fire alarm or automatic fire extin- <br />guishing systems installed in accor- <br />dance with this Article shall meet the <br />following requirements: <br />(a) All fire sprinkler system <br />devices and fire alarm systems <br />installed in accordance with this <br />article shall be Underwriters Labo- <br />ratory (UL) Central Station Service <br />Certificated in accordance with <br />NFPA 72-1996 Edition. <br />(b) All fire alarm systems re- <br />quired by the Fire Prevention Bu- <br />reau to have more than one zone <br />shall be locally annunciated by <br />zone and shall be transmitted to the <br />public fire service communications <br />center by zone. <br />(c) Final (as built) plans includ- <br />ing acopy of "Alarm Information" <br />shall be maintained and on file at <br />the control panel or other on-site <br />location (Key-lock Box) approved <br />by the Fire Department. When <br />digital signaling is provided, a <br />copy of the programming sheet <br />shall be provided to the Livermore <br />20.24.170 Section 1007.2.1.4 <br />Added -Fire Alarm <br />Systems -Existing <br />Buildings: <br />UFC section 1007.2.1.4 is added to <br />the uniform fire code by adding the <br />following: <br />Section 1007.2.1.4 <br />Existing Fire Alarm Systems. Exist- <br />ing fire alarm systems shall be Un- <br />derwriters Laboratories (UL) Certifi- <br />cated Central Station Service.
