On-street parking is available <br />for the use if such spaces are within a <br />reasonable distance of the home and <br />can be reached safely from the home by <br />children. <br />D. Noise Control: Large family day- <br />care homes shall not create noise levels <br />in excess of those allowed in single- <br />family residential areas in the noise <br />element of the general plan or in excess <br />of those allowed in residential property <br />by chapter 9.04 of this code. The zon- <br />ing administrator may impose reason- <br />able limits on the hours of operation of <br />the large family daycare home in order <br />to ensure that these limits are met. <br />E. Fire Code Requirements: Large <br />family daycare homes shall meet all <br />regulations of the state fire marshal <br />adopted as part of the California Ad- <br />ministrative Code and relating specifi- <br />cally to large family daycare homes. <br />(Ord. 1126 § 9, 1984; Prior Code <br />18.124.250 Additional Procedures: <br />The regulations concerning effective <br />date of the use permit, review or ap- <br />peal, lapse of use permit, suspension <br />and revocation, new application and <br />successors in interest shall be those <br />contained in this chapter. Modifications <br />shall be handled by the zoning admin- <br />istrator pursuant to the procedures set <br />forth in this article for new applica- <br />tions. Use Permits For <br />Small Bed And Breakfasts And <br />Bed And Breakfast Inns <br />18.124.260 Procedure: <br />Applications for small bed and <br />breakfasts and bed and breakfast inns <br />shall be processed in accordance with <br />article I of this chapter. <br />In addition to the findings listed in <br />section 18.124.070 of this chapter, the <br />planning commission shall make the <br />following finding before granting of a <br />use permit for a small bed and break- <br />fast in an R-1 district: That the pro- <br />posed location of the small bed and <br />breakfast will not change the residential <br />character of the neighborhood due to an <br />overconcentration of small bed and <br />breakfasts or other home business es- <br />tablishments in the area. (Ord. 1636 <br />§ 10, 1994) <br />18.124.270 Standards: <br />A. Small bed and breakfasts shall be <br />owner occupied. Bed and breakfast inns <br />shall be owner occupied or shall pro- <br />vide for a resident manager. <br />B. Meal service shall be limited only <br />to residents and overnight guests, ex- <br />cept that in the C-C district, a restau- <br />rant may be approved as part of the use <br />permit for a bed and breakfast inn. <br />C. No receptions, banquets, or other <br />commercial gatherings shall be permit- <br />ted unless approved as part of the use <br />permit for a bed and breakfast inn in <br />the C-C district. <br />631 (Pleasanton April 2001) <br />
