15.08.590 <br />15.08.590 Suspended Solids (SS): <br />"Suspended solids" means the measure <br />of solids that float or are in suspension in <br />a sample of sewage which are removable <br />by filtration, as determined by the method <br />of testing for SS pursuant to the standard <br />methods. (Ord. 1082 § 2, 1983; Prior <br />Code § 2-15.01.56) <br />15.08.600 Total Dissolved Solids <br />(TDS): <br />"Total dissolved solids (TDS)" means <br />the measure of all solids that are colloidal <br />or in solution in a sample of sewage that <br />are not removable by filtration, but which <br />remain after evaporation, as determined <br />by the method of testing for TDS pursu- <br />ant to the standazd methods. (Ord. 1082 <br />§ 2, 1983; Prior Code § 2-15.01.57) <br />15.08.605 Townhome Or Townhouse: <br />"Townhome or townhouse" means <br />three (3) or more attached dwelling units, <br />consisting of an individual ownership <br />interest in real property and a dwelling <br />unit. (Ord. 1895 § 1, 2003) <br />15.08.610 Treatment Plant Or <br />Treatment Works: <br />"Treatment plant" or "treatment works" <br />means the district wastewater treatment <br />facilities defined by the district as "treat- <br />ment works". (Ord. 1082 § 2, 1983; Prior <br />Code § 2-15.01.58) <br />15.08.620 Trunk Line Or Trunk <br />Sewer: <br />"Trunk line" or "trunk sewer" means a <br />main sewer line to which two (2) or more <br />service laterals aze connected and which <br />serves the primary purpose of transporting <br />sewage from service laterals to the treat- <br />ment plant. (Ord. 1082 § 2, 1983; Prior <br />Code § 2-15.01.59) <br />15.08.630 Uncommitted Capacity: <br />"Uncommitted capacity" means the <br />total capacity to which the city is entitled, <br />less the sum of the following: <br />A. That capacity being used, or which <br />may be permitted to be used, by existing <br />users; <br />B. That capacity committed under <br />connection permits outstanding but not <br />connected to the sewerage system; and <br />C. That capacity committed to future <br />use by agreements, reservations, or other <br />specific purposes, as determined by the <br />city, remaining to be reserved in such <br />agreements, reservations of other specific <br />purposes. (Ord. 1082 § 2, 1983; Prior <br />Code § 2-15.01.60) <br />15.08.640 User: <br />"User" means a person who uses the <br />sewerage system by discharging sewage <br />or industrial wastes therein.
