20.08.020 <br />20.08.020 Section 103 Amended - <br />Violations: <br />Section 103 of the California Build- <br />ing Standards Code 2001 Edition, (24 <br />CCR), and including by reference the <br />Uniform Building Code, 1997 Edition, <br />is amended to read as follows: <br />Section 103. It shall be unlawful for <br />any person, firm or corporation to <br />erect, construct, enlarge, alter, repair, <br />move, improve, remove, convert or <br />demolish, equip, use, occupy or <br />maintain any building or structure or <br />cause or permit the same to be done <br />in violation of this code. <br />Penalties for Violation. Penalties for <br />violations will be as provided in <br />Section 1.12.020 of the Pleasanton <br />Municipal Code. <br />(Ord. 1869 § 2, 2002; Ord. 1778 § 2, <br />1999; Ord. 1669 § 2, 1995) <br />20.08.025 Section 104.2.11 Added - <br />Installation Of Smoke <br />Detectors: <br />Section 104.2.11 of the California <br />Building Standards Code 2001 Edition, <br />(24 CCR), and including by reference <br />the Uniform Building Code, 1997 Edi- <br />tion, is added to read as follows: <br />Section 104.2.11. Installation of <br />Smoke Detectors. No residential <br />property may be sold or traded in the <br />City of Pleasanton unless and until <br />the seller installs or provides for the <br />installation of smoke detectors in <br />accordance with Sections 310.9.1.3, <br />310.9.1.4, and 310.9.1.5.
