20.20.015 <br />20.20.015 Section 304.1 Amended - <br />Fees: <br />Section 304.1 of the Uniform Admin- <br />istrative Code Provisions for the Na- <br />tional Electrical Code, 1996 Edition, is <br />amended as follows: <br />304.1 Fees. The National Electrical <br />Code permit fees shall be as set forth <br />in the Master Fee Schedule'. <br />(Ord. 1778 § 5, 1999; Ord. 1669 § 5, <br />1995) <br />20.20.016 Section 304.2 -Plan <br />Review Fees: <br />Section 304.2 of the Uniform Admin- <br />istrative Code Provisions for the Na- <br />tional Electrical Code, 1996 Edition, is <br />amended as follows: <br />304.2 Plan Review Fees. The Na- <br />tional Electrical Code plan review <br />fees shall be as set forth in the Mas- <br />ter Fee Schedule'. <br />(Ord. 1778 § 5, 1999) <br />20.20.022 Article 110.26(c) Amended <br />- Access And Entrance <br />To Working Space: <br />Article 110.26(c) of the California <br />Building Standards Code 2001 Edition <br />(24 C.C.R.), and including by reference <br />the National Electrical Code, is amend- <br />ed to read as follows: <br />(c) Access and Entrance to Working <br />Space. At least one entrance of suffi- <br />cient area shall be provided to give <br />access to the working space about <br />electric equipment. <br />For equipment rated 1200 amperes or <br />more and over 6 ft (1.83 m) wide <br />that contains overcurrent devices, <br />switching devices, or control devices, <br />there shall be one entrance not less <br />than 24 in. (610 mm) wide and 6 1/2 <br />ft (1.98 m) high at each end of the <br />working space. Where the entrance <br />has a personnel door(s), the door(s) <br />shall open in the direction of egress <br />and be equipped with panic bars, <br />pressure plates or other devices that <br />are normally latched but open under <br />simple pressure. <br />20.20.020 Addition To Article <br />90-9 -Penalties For <br />Violation: <br />Article 90-9 is added to the National <br />Electrical Code, Penalties for violation. <br />Penalties for violation will be as <br />provided in Section 1.12.020 of the <br />Pleasanton Municipal Code. <br />(Ord. 1561 § 7, 1992; Ord. 1169 § 5, <br />1984; Prior Code § 2-14.04) <br />1. The master fee schedule is on file in the office of the city clerk. <br />Exception No. 1: Where the <br />location permits a continuous and <br />unobstructed way of exit travel, <br />one means of access shall be <br />permitted. <br />Exception No. 2: Where the work <br />space required by Section <br />110-26(a) is doubled, only one <br />entrance to the working space is <br />required. It shall be located so <br />the edge of the entrance nearest <br />the equipment is the minimum <br />71 U-7 (Pleasanton April 2003) <br />
