3. Meetings <br /> <br /> (A) Regular Meetings <br /> <br /> Regular meetings of the Council shall be held on the <br /> fourth Thursday of certain months. Regular meetings will <br /> be determined by a vote of the Council. There shall be <br /> held at least one regular meeting during each consecutive <br /> three month period of the year beginning in January of <br /> each year. <br /> <br /> (B) Cancellat~Qn o~ Regular Meetings <br /> <br /> Any regular meeting of the Council may be cancelled by <br /> the Chairperson no less than three. (3) calendar days <br /> prior to the scheduled date of such meeting if there is <br /> insufficient business to warrant the meeting. <br /> Notification of cancellation shall be mailed to all <br /> parties who are notified of regular meetings of the <br /> Council, no less than three (3) calendar days prior to <br /> the scheduled date of the meeting to be cancelled. <br /> <br /> (C) Special Meetings <br /> <br /> Special meetings of the Council may be called by order <br /> of the Chairperson or by a majority of the members. The <br /> order calling the special meeting shall specify the time <br /> of the meeting and the business to be transacted at that <br /> meeting. <br /> <br /> (D) Adjourned Meetings <br /> <br /> Any regular meeting of the Council may be adjourned to <br /> any date prior to the date established for a regular <br /> meeting. Any adjourned regular meeting is part of the <br /> regular meeting, and any special meeting may be <br /> adjourned, and any adjourned special. meeting is part of <br /> the special meeting. <br /> <br /> (E) Ouorum <br /> <br /> A majority of the members of the Council shall constitute <br /> a quorum for the transaction of business, except that <br /> less than a quorum may adjourn from time to time pursuant <br /> to Subsection (G) of these Rules. <br /> <br /> <br />
