4. REVISIONS AND OMISSIONS TO THE AGENDA <br />There were none. <br />5. CONSENT CALENDAR <br />a. PDR-571, Peter Shutts/San¢ and Yoon Sim <br />Application for design review approval to allow the modification of the existing <br />facade of the buildings, the replacement of existing landscaping, and related site <br />improvements at the Vintage Hills Shopping Center located at 3550 Bernal <br />Avenue. Zoning for the property is PUD-C-N (Planned Unit Development - <br />Neighborhood Commercial) District. <br />Commissioner Blank moved to approve Case PDR-571, subject to the conditions of <br />approval as shown on Exhibit B of the staff report, as recommended by staff. <br />Commissioner O'Connor seconded the motion. <br />ROLL CALL VOTE: <br />AYES: Commissioners Blank, Fox, O'Connor, Olson, and Pearce. <br />NOES: None. <br />ABSTAIN: None. <br />RECUSED None. <br />ABSENT: None. <br />Resolution No. PC-2006-60, approving PDR-571, was entered and adopted as <br />motioned. <br />6. PUBLIC HEARINGS AND OTHER MATTERS <br />a. <br />Applications for: (1) design review approval to modify the Saint Elizabeth Seton <br />Church Master Plan to construct an approximately 22,296-square-foot parish <br />center building with gymnasium and related site improvements on the existing <br />church site located at 4001 Stoneridge Drive; and (2) a variance from the <br />Municipal Code to allow the proposed parish center building with gymnasium to <br />be approximately 34 feet tall, where 30 feet is the maximum height limit allowed. <br />Zoning for the property is A (Agriculture) District. <br />Ms. Decker introduced the item and noted that an e-mail written by Acting Chairperson <br />Fox was available to the public at the rear table. She requested the Plarming Commission <br />to allow staff to present the project, at which time she would address those questions. <br />She added that staff had received an email requesting that this item be presented as a <br />workshop first. She reaffirmed that this project was noticed as a public hearing item and <br />recommended that it continue and maintain its status as such. She noted that this item <br />was well into the application process and that the items of concern to the neighborhood <br />PLANNING COMMISSION MINUTES November 29, 2006 Page 2 of 28 <br />
