Commissioner Arkin seconded the motion with an amendment to the motion that it <br />be clearly noted in the design guidelines that the photos of the house designs in the <br />staff report are not consistent with the design guidelines. <br />Commissioner Blank accepted the amendment. <br />Commissioner Fox requested a further amendment that the final design guidelines <br />with the appropriate photos be included with the Final Map and reviewed by the City <br />Council <br />Chairperson Arkin noted that the City Council would not be reviewing the Design <br />Guidelines and requested an amendment that the revised Design Guidelines be <br />provided to both the Planning Commission and the City Council for information <br />and follow-up only. <br />Commissioner Blank and Chairperson Arkin accepted the amendment. <br />ROLL CAI <br />AYES: <br />NOES: <br />ABSTAIN: <br />rte` RECUSED: <br />ABSENT: <br />,L VOTE: <br />Commissioners Arkin, Blank, Fox, Olson, and Peazce <br />None. <br />None. <br />None. <br />None. <br />Resolution No. PC-2006-42 was entered and adopted as motioned. <br />c. Charles Austin and Scott Austin <br />Request to amend the Pleasanton General Plan to change the land use designation <br />of an approximately 30-acre hillside property from Rural Density Residential <br />(1 du/5 ac) to Low Density Residential (<2 du/ac) land uses on approximately <br />eight acres with a maximum density of eight units and Agriculture and Grazing <br />land uses on the remaining 22 acres; to rezone the subject property from the <br />A (Agriculture) District to PUD-LDR (Planned Unit Development -Low Density <br />Residential) and PUD-AG (Planned Unit Development -Agriculture and <br />Grazing) Districts; and for PUD development plan approval to subdivide the <br />subject property into eight custom home sites and designate the remaining <br />22 acres for permanent open space. The subject property is located at 3459 Old <br />Foothill Road and is currently zoned A (Agriculture) District. <br />Also consider the Negative Declazation prepazed for the project. <br />Mr. Pavan presented the staff report, described the scope, and displayed the layout of this <br />project on the overhead screen. The animated tree growth over 10 years was displayed to <br />r-. the Commission.
