7. MATTERS INITIATED BY COMMISSION MEMBERS <br />Snrinkler Svstem for New Residential Construction <br />Commissioner Blank stated that at the last meeting, the item on sprinklers for residential <br />construction was planned to be on the agenda for this meeting, but Ms. Decker requested <br />that it be rescheduled because of the heavy agenda. He noted that the item is not on the <br />Future Calendaz report and would like to have it scheduled for the next agenda <br />Mr. Iserson stated that the Commission has had a lot of heavy agendas recently, in <br />addition to the priorities that staff is attempting to get through. He indicated that he <br />would remind Donna to include the item on a future agenda. <br />8. MATTERS FOR COMMISSION'S REVIEW/ACTION <br />a. Future Planning Calendaz <br />There were none. <br />b. Actions of the City Council <br />Bernal Pronertv Phase II Specific Plan <br />~ Commissioner Fox inquired if the City Council added the Commission's suggestions to <br />include a dog pazk, tennis courts, and swimming pools at the Bernal Property. <br />Mr. Iserson replied that the Council decided not to get too specific and felt that those <br />kinds of uses were covered under the Parks and Recreation general uses. He added that <br />while the features were not added, they were not precluded by the existing language, and <br />the Council felt that they could be better addressed when the individual azeas came back <br />with the Master Plan. <br />c. Actions of the Zoning Administrator <br />There were none. <br />9. COMMUNICATIONS <br />Documents Forwazded to Commissioners <br />Commissioner Blank requested that there be some homogeneity in the method in which <br />documents aze distributed and that he preferred Word documents to pdf ones. Staff <br />indicated that it would not always be possible because the method would depend on the <br />source of the documents. <br />Commissioner Olson asked how the Commissioners felt about the distribution of packets <br />to their front porches.
