Vallev Humane Society <br />Application for design review approval to allow the temporary installation of a <br />modular building and parking azea for office, storage and work space for Valley <br />Humane Society and for caring facilities for cats during the construction of its <br />new facility at 3670 Nevada Street. Zoning for the property is PUD-C (Planned <br />Unit Development -Commercial) District. <br />Ms. Decker smiunazized the staff report and described the background and scope of this <br />project. Staff supported the modulaz structure while the permanent facilities aze under <br />construction. Staff added a condition to allow athree-yeaz temporary location, with the <br />caveat that the applicant must request an extension from the Planning Department, if <br />needed. Staff recommended approval of this item. <br />Ms. Hazryman noted that the staff report referred to the City of Pleasanton as being the <br />property owner. The location of the modulaz building used to be part of the road and was <br />vacated in the late 1980s by the City. The City's position has been that the property <br />~ reverted to the adjacent property owner, which is Zone 7.
