r.,,, Economic Development Strategic Plan (Attachment 2) <br />Paee 29 <br />Commissioner Blank noted that he was very concerned about the language on of the <br />General Plan which discussed the Stoneridge Extension. He noted that the Commission <br />and the City Council have unanimously said that the Stoneridge Extension was out of the <br />General Plan. <br />Ms. Stern noted that the Economic Vitality Committee (EVC) was an independent body <br />which gave independent advice to the Council. She noted that the question came up <br />during their joint meeting, and comment from the Council was heard; she added that the <br />final report has not yet been agreed upon by the EVC. <br />Paces 30 - 35 <br />There were no comments <br />Paces 1 - 8 <br />There were no comments <br />Pace 9 <br />Commissioner Roberts agreed that it was important to explore economic development <br />strategies since the loss of PeopleSoft. <br />Pages 10 -12 <br />There were no comments <br />Pie 13 <br />Commissioner Roberts noted that the discussion of retailing and shopping followed the <br />discussion of a regional economy.
