Commissioner Roberts believed the Linda Pipe item could have been placed on the
Consent Calendaz.
Ms. Decker noted that a Consent Calendaz may not be implemented ad hoc but that she
would research the procedure.
Ms. Hanyman noted that Consent Calendars were typical in most communities, and she
had discussed that option with Mr. Roush. She noted that staff could examine the public
heazing procedure language so the public understood it. She added that any item on the
Consent Calendaz maybe pulled and placed on the public hearing section of the agenda
to speak on it. She noted that any Commissioner may pull any item as well.
Abandoned Drive-Throueh Bank
Commissioner Fox noted that the drive-through bank at the corner of Valley Avenue and
Hopyard Road has been abandoned and vacant, and the sign has also been broken. She
inquired who the property owner was and whether Code Enforcement could look at it.
She noted that the broken glass created an eyesore.
Wireless Application
Commissioner Blank complimented staff on the excellent package put together for the
wireless applications.
r 8. MATTERS FOR COMMISSION'S REVIEW/ACTION
a. Future Planning Calendar
Ms. Decker noted that the April 12, 2006 meeting fell on the first day of Passover and
asked the Commission's opinion on an alternate date.
Commissioner Roberts noted that the following week was spring break for the schools as
well.
Commissioner Blank noted that there was a great deal of work for the Commission and
did not wish to cancel a meeting.
Ms. Decker noted that she would examine the schedule and notify the Commissioners.
b. Actions of the City Council
There were none.
c. Actions of the Zoning Administrator
PLANNING COMMISSION MINUTES March 29, 2006 Page 24 of 25
