c. Spreadsheet on Matters Initiated by Commission Members <br />Chairperson Arkin suggested that this item be addressed at the next meeting. <br />Citv Charter <br />Commissioner Blank inquired whether an item in the City Charter could be changed by <br />Council vote or whether it should be subject to a referendum. Mr. Roush replied that <br />Pleasanton was a General Law City without a charter. He noted that Ms. Harryman was <br />conversant on charter cities. <br />Commissioner Blank noted that the City's website regazding ordinances referred to the City's <br />charter and added that he would send the link to Mr. Roush. <br />Furniture Store -Rose Shopnine Center <br />Commissioner Maas noted that the furniture store was not the one presented to the Planning <br />Commission. Ms. Decker replied that Broyhill was not going to be the store in that center. <br />8. MATTERS FOR COMMISSION'SREVIEW/ACTION <br />a. Future Planning Calendar <br />Ms. Decker drew the Commission's attention to a memo placed in the packet with the CIP <br />midterm and added that some Commissioners had questioned whether it was necessary to <br />~"~ have it presented by the Assistant City Attorney, Steve Bocian. She stated that it was not <br />necessary and that it was an informational review for the Planning Commission without a <br />formal heazing. The Commissioners may direct their comments to Mr. Bocian, if they so <br />desired. She indicated that it would be removed from the Mazch 29 agenda. <br />b. Actions of the City Council <br />There were none. <br />c. Actions of the Zoning Administrator <br />Commissioner Blank thanked Ms. Decker for the detail provided on the network <br />development access and the Cingulaz application. <br />9. COMMUNICATIONS <br />Chairperson Arkin inquired whether the Commission preferred addressing long documents <br />page-by-page. The Commission generally liked it, and Commissioner Blank would also like <br />to address general issues such as incentives. <br />10.
